Homeowner Growing & Maintenance

Japanese Maples are moderately easy to grow, and adapt to most conditions; however, they do prefer to be planted in an area that is well protected from wind, heat exposure, and drought like conditions. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer. To give your plant the best start possible, we include a free fertilizer packet.

Acer palmatum dissectum 'Tamukeyama'

Buy Tamukeyama Japanese Maple online. Tamukeyama maintains it's burgundy color in hot humid climates and resist scorching better than many other lace leafs. A vigorous grower with cascading branches and dark red bark that is covered with a white waxy covering, an identifying feature. A fantastic older variety possible as old as the 1700s.
