Japanese Maples are moderately easy to grow and adapt to most conditions; however, they do prefer to be planted in an area that is well protected from wind, heat exposure, and drought like conditions. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer. To give your plant the best start possible, we include free fertilizer with every order.

Buy Tama Hime Upright Japanese Maple online. A dwarf spreading shrub with tiny green leaves. Fall color is yellow and orange. Wonderful for bonsai. The Japanese name means "small globe," however it grows as a low, flat table. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 2' tall x 4' wide in 10 years.
