Buy Ruby Vase® Persian Ironwood online. 'Ruby Vase' is an introduction into the Parrotia genus that showcases a growth habit that is much more upright and narrower than P. persica. Its leaves emerge in the spring with red tips that surround a green center, then darkens to solid green throughout summer. In fall, it is covered in bright reds and oranges. Because of its growth habit, this is an excellent tree used in urban settings, or areas where large trees are not suitable.

Family: Hamamelidaceae · Common Name: Ironwood

We just planted this beauty. They are rare in Colorado so I’m so pleased with Sooner. The packaging and care of the tree was evident upon arrival. I hope it will do well in my southern spot nestled up against a fence and structure. So far, my rating is for the condition of the plant! Excellent!
