While this upright maple tends to be slightly wider than Armstrong or Red Supersonic I like the varying fall colors yellows, oranges and red. I already have some consistent red fall trees in my landscape, this mix of color breaks up the monotony. Amrstrong is less than impressive, prone to breakage and has a tendency to have dull yellow fall color. Supersonic is a great choice for an upright if you're looking for consistant red fall color.
