JANE MAGNOLIA Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips
Magnolia is easy to grow and adapts to most conditions. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.

Indiana (Hardiness Zone: 5)
This is one of the best and easiest to grow of all the modern hybrids in my opinion. It is my senior of many different magnolias and I grow it in a bit of a heavy soil here with no problems. The bark is also of a very smooth, attractive gray nature. Heals proper pruning wounds very well. If you can only grow one magnolia this is a great candidate.

The plant was exactly as described. Very healthy and planted in late Spring, First blooms came out the following Spring.
