Buy Nuresagi Upright Japanese Maple online. Relatively fast growing compared to other Japanese maples, especially when young. The Japanese name meaning "wet heron" refers to the visual effect created by the silver pubescence on the emerging burgundy spring leaves. Leaves remain deep red throughout summer and turn scarlet and orange in the fall.
