Buy Coral Bark Upright Japanese Maple online. Also known as 'Sango Kaku', it is best known for its striking red bark in the fall and winter. The leaves unfold with red and pinkish tinges that become lime green and yellow with bright red edges well into spring. During the summer's heat the foliage becomes a medium green. When the yellow and gold fall colors develop, the cooler temperatures also start to change the bark to red that intensifies as the weather gets colder.

I planted my coral bark upright Japanese maple just over two months ago. It's a lovely, good-size tree, and it's doing beautifully. I am very pleased with it and hope to have it a long time.

I ordered this tree a little over a year ago. It's doing great!! We are all enjoying the different colors during the different seasons. The bright red bark in the winter is stunning, the lime green leaves in the spring are absolutely beautiful. Great addition to our garden. We will be moving soon and I'm looking forward to buying another one for our new garden in our new home.
