Buy Dawn Redwood online. Bright green feathery leaves and exfoliating bark enhance landscape texture on this conical deciduous tree. Butte, MT (Hardiness Zone: 4)
I live in zone 4 and planted seedlings 2 years ago. They are beautiful, your information says zone 5 and above. I planted four under the worst conditions you could imagine and they are doing great.

Texas (Hardiness Zone: 1)
Growing a dozen of these all planted bare root at different times. They look much like a slim bald cypress but are much easier to grow (no chlorosis or bag worms). They have all consistantly been growing 2-5 ft per year with the tallets now about 25ft tall. Very healthy beautiful trees. I think they look good in a naturalized clumps or as a single spot in the middle of a flower bed.

This tree arrived well packaged and in very good shape. Unfortunately we had a freak early May hard freeze that nipped the tree's new growth and has really set the tree back. I have my fingers crossed, there are a few new buds since the freeze that are undamaged.

Indiana (Hardiness Zone: 5)
Must confess I didn't purchase mine from Sooner P.F. but I can only say from my experience of growing several cultivars very successfully in a rather heavy soil they are fine, attractive and tough plants. Don't let the rather delicate looking foliage fool, they are one formidable plant. My oldest plant recently survived one of the worst droughts ever virtually unaided.
