Buy Ruby Falls Weeping Redbud online. Has large, heart-shaped deep purple foliage, with dark rose-purple sweet pea-like blooms borne on the bare stems in early spring. 'Ruby Falls' has a unique weeping habit that makes it perfect for smaller size yards. Leaves will become green, in the heat of summer and lower light conditions. Best color is spring and early summer, in full sun locations.
Family: Fabaceae · Common Name: Redbud
Redbud is a fascinating genus of small trees with several species and many varieties and cultivars. Native to the eastern and southern US, Redbuds are scattered throughout the countryside’s and are one of the first trees to flower in early spring, along with Dogwoods. Redbuds require well draining soil even to the point of being rocky. If planted in wet or poorly draining soils the trees will decline in health rather quickly. Best planted high and dry!

Everyone was out of the Ruby Falls, so I got on Sooner Plant Farms mailing list to let me know when they had it back in stock. On June 12 they sent me an e-mail indicating they had 5 of them now in stock. I immediately put in an order for the Smart Pot 5 Gallon Ruby Falls. I thought for sure the plant would be 3 - 4 foot tall even though they said 4 - 5 foot tall on my order. To my surprise this specimen was 5 foot tall and absolutely beautiful. This was the best looking tree I have ever received in a UPS shipment. The tree was wonderfully packed and protected.
I am very, very happy with this beautiful tree. Now if the Oklahoma wind will give it a break, I would be even happier.
Thank you Sooner Plant Farm!
Sincerely,
Steve

I am so impressed with my new Ruby Falls and the incredible care that was taken in shipping it to me. I purchased a 5 gal. size and it arrived in great shape because of very sturdy & secure packaging. The plant itself is just beautiful and healthy looking and it is just as Sooner Plant Farms said it would be.
This is a wonderful Christian company and I am so happy to have found them. I have already ordered my next plant from them.
A Happy Customer

This plant arrived in very healthy condition, shipped all the way to Indiana. The soil was still moist when I opened up the box. It's been in the ground for about a week now with almost no visible signs of stress - it seems happy to pick up right where it left off putting out new leaves on the ends of the branches. We have thick clay soil so I dug the hole extra wide and deep and added about 4 inches of pea gravel in the bottom of the hole for drainage, then filled the rest with store bought top soil and planted the root ball raised about an inch and a half. My neighbors were surprised to learn this 4 foot tall healthy tree came by mail!

Bought this after a talk at Tulsa Garden Center a couple of years ago. It's doing great and it's really unusual and pretty even when it's not blooming! I love it!

I ordered 2 of these trees. They arrived on time and in good condition. I ordered 1 several years ago so was a little surprised as the trees were not as well branched as the one I had received previously. I am hoping as they fill out they will have a nice shape and not be flat on one side
