As with all plants from Sooner Plant Farm this tree arrived in great condition. I live in zone 9A and only plant in the fall. It arrived in a dormant state. This spring it just came to life. It is a beautiful deep color with lighter new red leaves. It height is slow growing but it is getting a very nice full bush shape. If you want a small area Japanese Maple this is the best tree. Do not hesitate to buy this tree.
