The blooms are flat in appearance and can reach widths o 6-8" in diameter. Green leaves emerge in spring, and turn yellow in fall. This tall and narrow growing shrub is perfect for borders, as well as the perfect focal point in your sunny landscape! Note. Althea Hibiscus is considered a shrub or tree and will not die back to the ground in winter, like Hardy Hibiscus.
