I bought this tree from this company about 3 years ago and love it. It has grown very well and I am pleased with it. I am in zone 7a (right on the 6b/7a border) (which is its border range), but its doing just fine! Highly recommended!

Beautiful, fast-growing, and tolerant of clay soil and full sun in the Dallas burbs. I have purchased several now.

I bought 2 of these Slash Pine trees from seller a few years ago. It's more for looks than shade because it doesn't have heavy foliage like I thought it would. Avoid using Miracle-Gro if possible but if you must, use Lawn type sparingly otherwise the high concentration of Phosphorus make the tree grow too fast and the wood limp. I had to tie mine down for that it can get windy here in Dallas.
