Sunglow Vine Maple is a luminous small tree that lives up to its radiant name. A rare selection of the native vine maple, it dazzles with apricot, peach, and orange spring foliage that shifts into golden yellow and chartreuse tones laced with orange veins through summer. By autumn, the display transforms once more into glowing shades of scarlet, crimson, and deep purple-red, extending the tree's year-round interest.

Compact and slow-growing, Sunglow Vine Maple naturally forms a dense, rounded shape making it perfectly suited for gardens where space is limited but brilliant seasonal color is desired.

Introduced by Buchholz Nursery in Oregon, this vine maple hybrid thrives in zones 5-9, preferring morning sun with afternoon shade to protect its delicate foliage. It combines the adaptability of a native species with the show-stopping color of a collector's cultivar, making it both reliable and extraordinary.
