Buy Prince's Plume online. Prince's Plume is a beautiful native desert perennial to the southwest and desert regions of North America. It is known for its striking yellow flowers in late spring to early summer that rest on top of grayish-green evergreen leaves. This plant is extremely drought tolerant and prefers to be planted in areas that are semi-arid. It can be grown in wetter areas, but planting higher in the landscape is recommended.
