SHIRLEY TEMPLE GARDEN PEONY Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips
Paeonia prefer well drained soil and for best blooms protection from afternoon sun and strong winds. To ensure great the eyes of the Garden Peony need to be planted about 1 1/2 to 2" below the soil line. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.

I am sooo impressed with the Shirley temple peony I bought from Sooner plant farm! I received a different variety from another nursery yesterday and was pretty disappointed. Not only did they send the wrong kind but it was wilted and had no buds on them which is the reason I bought the bigger pot. This beautiful peony from Sooner looks very healthy with moist soil and blooms already! I will continue to buy plants from Sooner now that I know I can trust the quality!
