    I've been growing this plant in part shade for a couple of years now and it has performed very satisfactorily. It's pretty slow and restrained and doesn't get dense and congested like some other varieties. Rabbits have nibbled on it a bit in winter but I've always had a rabbit problem. A nice plant.
