When it arrived it was huge & I purchased the smallest one. Sure enough the deer ate all the leaves off, but I've since caged it and it bounced right back. I'm looking forward to seeing this beauty grow.

Overall pretty good, there were some snapped ends on various part of the plants, but no significant damage. A light pruning and then placement in part sun to acclimate the plant before placing in the ground was all it took before new growth started to form. Overall I'm pretty pleased, don't expect super purple leaves right away but it seems like they will darken with age. Definitely an interesting variety!
