Mountainair New Mexico
Just returned from a five day mission trip to work at Eagles Wings Youth Camp in Mountainair New Mexico. Added on to an existing horse barn. A wonderful camp for underpriviledged and troubled kids. I was very blessed to be able to help in the new construction.

Well I felt an actual earthquake last night, 5.6 on the Richter scale, the third one in 24 hours. Although it was about 100 miles away my house shook for about one minute. Blessed no damage, mark that off the bucket list!

First Freeze expected tonight
The first local area freeze is a big day in our business, it marks the real end of the growing season, and makes us aware that winter is coming again. We wait for a couple good freezes to harden the plants and then everything gets a good trimming and shaping up before being put into greenhouses for the winter. We will be covering greenhouses for the next couple weeks, Lots of fun!!!

Back in the Saddle
As a small business owner it is really hard to fill all the positions that we would like too. So we hire as many skilled employees as we can afford, and the rest of the jobs are left for the owner to do. This can be a challenge! For me writing a daily journal or blog falls under the category I will do it, I'm pretty sure I will do it, well I hope I will do it, lord please give me time to do it. So here I go again, with another honest effort to write something of value for my friends and customers on a semi regular schedule.
