I ordered several different Loropetalum last year and this is one, GARNET FIRE™ LOROPETALUM Loropetalum chinensis 'sPg-3-017'; is one of my favorite. it has deep purple leaves, and the brightest flowers. It is growing well in a great shrub and looks beautiful. I highly recommend this Loropetalum.

As with all plants from Sooner Plant farm these bushes arrived in perfect condition. I ordered several verities of Loropetalum and this is among my favorite. I planted it in the fall as I do with all my bushes, as I live in zone 9A, and the summer heat is too hot. These bushes grew well and bloomed in the spring. They were bought to be a border between mine and my neighbor’s home and are rapid growers. She bought hers from a local nursery and mine are growing fuller and taller than hers. I am going to finish buying the remainder of the bushes this fall and will need to remove some other ones I purchased. I also bought Bold Loropetalum as it was stated to grow 4 - 5 feet, it is not, I believe mislabeled and it is a dwarf bush and will need to move them. I was hoping to interspace different Loropetalum, but now after seeing this Loropetalum will have a wall of them.
