Bought this last year and am disappointed after 2 growing seasons. We have had extraordinary rain both years, but I don't know what else I can do to help this shrub. I planted it at the top of the sloping flower bed & root ball high in the ground, but foliage droops then dies back worse with each successive rain. This year when we got hot & dry it re-leafed. Now we've had more rain & it is ugly again. Any suggestions for successfully growing this Vitex Blue Diddley will be appreciated.
