Rhododendron is easy to grow and adapts to most conditions. Prefers slightly acidic well drained soils. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.

After the spring blooming period, these amazing azaleas begin growing new shoots and start blooming into full flower in mid-summer. The Encore® Series are known for their richness of color as well as the foliage and overall vigor.

Very nice plant. Foliage is a pretty dark green, love the flower color. The only pesky thing about Encores is that the blooms take a very long time to fall off naturally, and thus require by-hand deadheading unless you want dead flowers on your shrub for at least a month. Blooms 3 times a year for me in Dallas, TX.
