Leslie Magliozzi's Review

Location: New Jersey
Hardiness Zone: 6

I live in central NJ (hardiness zone = 7a) and planted two of the Taylor junipers in June 2018. I have a heavy clay soil that many plants struggle in. Following the instructions that came with the junipers, I discovered that the soil does not drain as recommended, but at that point I had no choice but to plant them as it was a real chore to dig the holes for the junipers and everywhere on my lot is the same clay soil so moving them to another location was not an option. They have survived for two years growing about 10-12" per year. I water them with a dripline and have them mulched with pine nuggets.

Cheryl Fallis's Review

Hardiness Zone:

I bought three of these about three years ago, 4'-5' tall in a root pouch, which we cut as directed and planted. They have tripled in height but remain narrow. They are exposed to full sun in the summer and are in a windy area in winter. Very pleased!

I love these. I ordered them about 5 years ago and they went through hot Kansas summers with no problems. They are tall and very beautiful!
