Other than helping my parents with their vegetable garden, I had never taken much interest in plants. I was a criminal defense attorney for children and spent much more time in a courtroom than I did outdoors enjoying nature. All that changed when I met Brian. His love of plants was contagious, and I soon fell in love with them (and him). Once I retired from practicing law, I was able to shift my attention to the Farm full-time. My main responsibility is securing product, but you are likely to find me answering phones as well. I feel extremely blessed to be married to my best friend and get to spend my days working along side of him.
Family: Two children and two grandchildren
Pets: Our two English Bulldogs, Kenda and Autumn Joy as well as our farm dog "Maggie".
Hobbies: What is a hobby? Just kidding. There isn't a lot of "down time" around here but I do enjoy most types of crafts and just spending time with my family. I also love to load up the dogs and head out on a drive with Brian.
Missions: In my younger years, I spent a lot of time doing construction missions with my church. I can't do the "heavy" stuff anymore, but I still support many mission projects within our church and Co-Chair our Operation Christmas Child ministry.
Favorite Vacation places: I have a goal to see all 50 states and only have a few left on my list. I love the rich history of New England, the beautiful mountains of Alaska, the gorgeous beaches of Florida and anywhere in between. I was blessed to get to visit the Holy Land and would love to spend more time in that region as well.
Bucket List: I would love to visit Ireland, Scotland, Egypt.....the list goes on and on.....
Prayers: That I would live my life in a way that others could see Jesus in me. I pray that people see the value in each other and that all people would come to know Jesus as their Savior.
