The Crimson Spire oak is a hybrid of English oak and white oak and the foliage borrows some attributes from both. It has the familiar white oak form but is smaller, and develops pretty similar coloration in the fall. The tree grows fairly fast vertically but, as advertised, is very fastigiate and narrow. it bears a sparse (so far) crop of smaller acorns in autumn, and doesn't seem to suffer any problems or pests.
