Japanese Maples are moderately easy to grow and adapt to most conditions; however, they do prefer to be planted in an area that is well protected from wind, heat exposure, and drought like conditions. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.

This year I ordered online from three different nurseries. Sooner was the last order I placed and the first to arrive. The tree arrived well packed, still moist and very healthy. It said 3-4ft so I was expecting a stick but instead got a heavily branched tree over 4ft. I couldn't be more pleased with the shopping experience.
