Cercis canadensis 'Eastern Redbud'
REDBUD 'EASTERN'
Eastern Redbud is usually a small tree with the trunk divided close to the ground forming a spreading, flat topped to rounded crown, it is very beautiful with its gracefully ascending branches. New growth when emerging is a reddish purple and gradually changes to a dark, often somewhat spectacular green in summer. Fall color is usually yellow-green, but can be an outstanding yellow. Clusters of flowers, rosy pink with purplish tinge, line the branches in the spring.
