I have purchased two of these, the first about 5 years ago, the second 3 years ago. They are now the same size, and MUCH larger than the sizes given: Four feet tall and over 5 feet wide. They grow taller, then through the summer the branches relax and become more horizontal. I got a good bloom this year for the first time, and all the berries are already eaten (August), so I won't see them next to the wine colored photo. A nice plant for a mixed hedge, probably not nice enough for your front garden, or directly in front/under a window.

MUSKINGUM DOGWOOD Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips

Cornus is fairly easy to grow and adapts well to most conditions. Plant in a location with some afternoon shade in the southern states. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.
