These are amazingly breathtaking! To have plants like this in our yard with such a short growing season is pretty incredible! These are the first flowers everyone comments on when seeing our yard. After 8 years of dying back to ground level every winter, they are growing taller every year- now about 7-8 feet tall and covered with blooms!

The blooms on this plant are huge! They are tall bright red eye-catchers in my back yard. They come back every year and require little care. They need only good sun and a little water in dry weather. Lovely plants!

LORD BALTIMORE HARDY HIBISCUS Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips

Hardy Hibiscus is easy to grow and adapts to most conditions. Remove dead canes in early spring to avoid root rot during the winter. One of the last plants to break dormancy in spring, and can stay dormant into early summer. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.
