Buy Whitebud online. Is a moderate to slow-growing small flowering tree. The white blossoms appear early in spring along the branches and before the dark green heart-shaped leaves. It is a native over a wide range of growing conditions.

Redbud is a fascinating genus of small trees with several species and many varieties and cultivars. Native to the eastern and southern US, Redbuds are scattered throughout the countryside’s and are one of the first trees to flower in early spring, along with Dogwoods. Redbuds require well draining soil even to the point of being rocky. If planted in wet or poorly draining soils the trees will decline in health rather quickly. Best planted high and dry!

A very nice and unique redbud. I'm growing it as sort of a woods edge, understory plant on an eastern exposure and am excited about a good bloom set coming this spring, it's third year.
