Plant arrived very well packaged, and I unwrapped it right away. Had dug the hole the evening before, so I planted it right away and gave it a good drink. There were some buds on the hibiscus but they have since shriveled. I trimmed off some black spotted leaves. The plant kind of went into shock for a few days, but has now rebounded and looks happy in its new environment. I shall nurse it through fall and prune it back before winter, then look forward to the huge pink flowers next summer. Thank you for sharing your bounty!

DREAM CATCHER FLEMING™ HARDY HIBISCUS Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips

Hardy Hibiscus is easy to grow and adapts to most conditions. Remove dead canes in early spring to avoid root rot during the winter. One of the last plants to break dormancy in spring, and can stay dormant into early summer. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.
