Buy Candide™ Hibiscus online. Candide™ is a hybrid hibiscus, this lavender-purple variety flowers in late summer. Its tropical-looking flowers are larger than those of althea. It makes a good small tree or large shrub. Note: Hardy hibiscus will die back to the ground every winter and emerge from the ground in late spring.
