The winter holiday months are tough on gardeners. The cold winter months keep plant lovers indoors more often. Want to brighten the dreary days for a beloved gardener? Try giving them a couple of these fantastic gifts this holiday season.
Prelude Amaryllis in Holiday Tin Container - This beautiful flowering bulb is perfect for the holiday season with the bright red and white blooms that can be forced indoors with ease. Even beginning gardeners will have success with these beautiful amaryllis flowers.
Prelude Amaryllis,
Antique Container with Paperwhite Bulbs - This gorgeous container comes pre-planted with fragrant paperwhite narcissus bulbs that will create a spectacular centerpiece over the holidays. This is a perfect hostess gift, centerpiece, or mantel decoration. This gardening gift comes with everything you need for spectacular blooms over the winter, with an attractive container to enjoy even after the flowers fade.
Antique Container with Paperwhite Bulbs,
Gardener's Potting Bench - This steel gardening stand is a sturdy place for gardeners to plant containers, transplant seedlings, and store gardening tools. Show your gardener how much you love them by saving their back from bending and stooping with this raised, planting table. Such a nifty design, I love that this bench is not only sturdy in construction, but will also collapse down to store in a small space when I need it out of the way.
Gardener's Potting Bench,
Birdseed Christmas Ornament Three-Pack - Our family has a tradition of giving Christmas ornaments each year and I think these bird seed ornaments are absolutely adorable. One is a snowman Christmas ornament design, another ornament looks like a miniature Christmas Tree, and the third looks like a hanging Christmas stocking. Each of the ornaments has over 1/2 pound of birdseed on them making them a fantastic treat for bringing wildlife to the garden during winter's harsh months.

If you are reading this journal and live anywhere near North East Oklahoma, I hope you have already heard about or visited Harber Village on Grand Lake in Grove Ok.
Harber Village Museum has an amazing collection of antiques, well over 100 exhibits, all grouped by category, like glassware, tools, smoking pipes, medical equipment, farm equipment and everything else we have seen(young folks) or our grandparents have used in their days.
The museum was built as a gift from Harvey and Bernice Jones, founders of Jones Trucking. The setting is peaceful with a meandering trail in and around old style buildings that house the collections. The cost to visit is $3.50 per person, I have to say this is possible the most enjoyable $3.50 I have ever spent. Below is a link to the Harber Village website.Allow a minimum of 2.5 hours and you could easily spend 4-5 hours visiting.
While in Grove, be sure to visit Lendonwood Gardens, a beautiful 3 acre garden with many Japanese Maples, and conifers.Lendonwood Gardens, it is located on the same road as Harber Village and only about 10 minutes away.
