Common Name: JAPANESE MAPLE 'RED' (twisted trunk)  ·  Hardiness Zone: 5-9
Each of our twisted Japanese red maple trees in 3.5 in pots are at least 2 years old. When I find a potential tree to use for bonsai, I will plant it into a pot of this size and grow it one year before it is repotted into a small bonsai type pot. Each tree has desirable characteristics like twisted trunks and exposed roots.
