Athryrium niponicum 'Pictum'

Angela's Review
Location: Atoka, OK
These beautiful ferns have drawn many compliments from the church attendees who love the new shady prayer-garden we landscaped almost entirely with Sooner Plant Farm plants. We mixed these ferns with hostas and hellebores around a moving water feature and "flowing" river walk (dry creek bed) and the effect is truly stunning at times. I am not a huge fan of ferns in generally but these are well worth trying out in your shade garden.

A striking deciduous fern. Stems are burgundy red with fronds tinged blue and silver. A very hardy fern that is easy to grow. A must for every shade garden!
