Terie Dohrman's Review
Location: Selah, WA

Absolutely terrific. I bought one about two years ago at Lowes, late in the season so I knew what the bloom looked like. I didn't, however, realize what a prize I had until later in the year. When the flower loses it's petals the seed ball resembles a fluffy pom pom that is just as pretty as the full flower was. Due to this fact, you can just let it grow and do its thing and not worry about pinching, dead heading or anything.

I got three varieties from a top rated "Dave's garden" on-line nusery. Weather was extremely dry and hot all summer and plants small but they took off and FAnfare is still throwing out blooms. The more varieties, the better

BLANKET FLOWER 'FANEFARE'

Large very unusual flowers are stunning and cover the entire plant. A sport from the variety 'Dazzler' upright facing flowers are deep red and flare out like trumpets. Topped with bright yellow at the ends, flowers transitions from orange to yellow. Blooms mid May thru September. WOW
