New and improved Ninebark. Summer Wine® is a cross between Physocarpus o. 'Nana and Diabolo™Ninebark.
Summer Wine® is a neat compact grower, with nice clean deeply cut foliage. The dark maroon leaves, will contrast well in any garden. This strong grower requires little pruning, making this a spectabular flowering shub. Flowers are pinkish - white and button like. Excellent contrast plant against a light colored background, or mixed with yellow and bright green plants. Extremely hardy!
