ALTHEA 'AMPLISSIMUS RED DOUBLE'
Amplissimus Red Double Althea is a medium sized, upright growing, slender, well-branched shrub to 10 feet with bright green serrated leaves. It is easily grown, tolerating a widerange of soil and moisture conditions. It produces an abundance of red blossoms in late summer.
Note Althea Hibiscus is considered a shrub or tree and will not die back to the ground in winter, like Hardy Hibiscus.
