RED BUCKEYE
Red Buckeye aka Texas Red Buckeye, procuces very showy clusters of bright red flowers in early to late spring. The leaves are quite unique and grow as 5 leaflet palmately compound, which emerge a bronzy red and later turn dark green. Best grown as a small multi-stem tree. Can grow quite larges if left unpruned. Grow rather slowly so pruning once a year in spring after blooming works well, to keep in bounds.
Once mature, large rounded brown seed is produced.
A very unique plant for any garden!
