This is the most amazing honeysuckle, covered in huge blossoms over an incredibly long time, clear up until a hard freeze. I grew it in CA Zone 6, where it tolerated a heavy snow load each year and never faltered. It IS prone to aphid, but a systemic treatment of Bayers or a similar product will easily control them. To me it's the best of the honeysuckle, by far. Vigorous, dense and prolific.

Fast growing deciduous vine with large ovel leaves and clusters of fragrant and brilliantly colored flowers beginning in June, continuing through the summer. Flower buds open to expose yellow inside, with the outside then gradually changing to pinkish purple. Train as espalier or on fence for support.
